VNC1100I ALERT = alert-id raised by VIP agent vip-agent-name
When an alert rule in VNAC agent configuration retrieves an alert from a VIP agent, then 4 to 9 messages report the event heirarchy of the alert. How many and which messages depends on the depth of the alert’s hierarchy.
An alert has 1 to 6 hierarchy records. They describe the location of the event that generated the alert. The highest-number in the hierarchy describes the resource where the alert-generating event occurred. The other resources in the hierarchy are parents of that alert-generating resource.
A 6-deep hierarchy is reported with one set of messages, a 5-deep hierarchy is reported with another set of messages, and so on.
In any set, the first three messages report the VIP agent name, and the alert ID, text, and user data. The remaining messages report the name and type of nodes in the heirarchy, starting at hierarchy level one, where the event occurred.
