Subtask subtask failed to launch; return code=return-code
The Dispatcher detected an error while attempting to start a command processor subtask. The return codes are as follows:
4 No table address passed to SCITABLE START routine
8 No table entry address passed to SCITABLE START routine
12 Table alignment bad
16 Table entry alignment bad
20 Service/product does not match
24 Sub service name does not match
28 Table NOT entry marked inactive at time of start request
32 Unknown table name
36 Bad return from SCITMR02 (bad timer parms)
40 Cannot locate xxxDVTR
44 SCIDMYTAD (table address) is zero
48 Another tasks stopped the entry while I was starting it
52 Error after ‘additional’ processing call (depends on table)
100 Storage constraint
104 Timout during initialization
108 TSKM Allocation failed
112 CPB allocaction failed
116 Task name not found
120 SCITSKEF2 flag not ‘Y’ after start
Action:
For RC=100, 108, or 112, review and maybe increase address-space storage sizes.
For RC=100, also review the 4th parameter, max percentage of storage, on the TasksUnattended and/or TasksAttended parameters of the VNCCFG00 startup member.
