This message defines abbreviations that may be used in subsequent SAWSTAT messages.

SAWSTAT: Begin Session Awareness Monitor configuration, status, and statistics

This is the first response message to the SAWSTAT command.

SAWSTOP: SAW stopped. Will not automatically retry SAWSTART.

The SAWSTOP command is complete. The VNAC agent will no longer automatically attempt to SAWSTART.

SAWSTART: Retry periodicity = hh:mm:ss = approximately nn minutes. Most failed retries are silent.

This message describes the frequency of SAWSTART retry attempts. Failed retry attempts are silent unless the reason for the error is different than that for the previous failure.

This message is issued approximately every hour as a reminder that the SAWSTART service is still in retry mode.

The VNAC agent failed in its attempt to collect SAW data from the VTAM CNM interface. SAWDIAG messages will describe the nature of the failure.
